Wodonga Institute of TAFE provides practical, hands-on training and education
In Albury-Wodonga, on the border of NSW and Victoria, as well as supporting remote learning centres across three states.
Beachhead assisted Wodonga Institute with ISP services, Wi-Fi solutions and network infrastructure that would support their growing student population and built an excellent relationship with the team and their network.
When it became impossible for the onsite staff to continue monitoring the network, tracking security events, preparing reports and troubleshooting, they looked to Beachhead to implement a solution. Beachhead put together three different security solution options that would satisfy their requirements, facilitated on-site demonstrations and prepared detailed quotes, which allowed the institute to select the best provider for their situation.
Beachhead provided backup during the installation and configuration tasks, and continues to service the institute through a web-based interface that presents event logs, security reports, alerts, and ‘self-service’ reporting.

They talked us through some of the more arcane points of installation and gave us valuable advice on setting up configurations to support our particular needs. This approach had a number of advantages for us. Not only did it reduce the total upfront cost of the project but the hosted solution meant that we needed less processing power on site which in turn reduced operational overheads and lessened our overall risk.”
